WHO CAN
ACCESS THE INCUBATOR?
The Business Incubator space is available to business projects or newly established companies created within the framework of the innovative, scientific and/or technical activity carried out by the university community. Particularly, the following collectives are admitted:
- Students studying at the UDC at the moment of application
- Graduates* of the UDC for the five years directly before the call for access to the Incubator
- Teaching and research staff
- Administrative and service staff
*UDC graduates are considered to be former alumni who studied and completed undergraduate, postgraduate, Master’s or doctoral studies at the UDC.
HOW TO
ACCESS THE INCUBATOR?
Access to the Incubator will be granted through a public call when a free space is available. Any interested developer has to fill out and present the application form that is attached to the call information, as well as submit a description of the project. Applicants will be evaluated by the Incubator’s commission, which may request that developers present their business project in person. The UDC will use all means at their disposal to publicise the call.
DURATION AND FEES
Stays at the Incubator will last a maximum of 2 years and 8 months:
- 8 months for the development of the business project. In this period, no fee is due.
- For the following 2 years, a fee of 7.50 €/m2 plus VAT per month will be charged. All services are included in this fee.
MORE INFORMATION
In the Regulations, together with the active call, all information necessary to apply for a space in the Business Incubator will be collected.
