Postdoctoral Fellowships (former IF)/
The goal of the Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers, wishing to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility.
There are two types of Postdoctoral Fellowships:
- European Postdoctoral Fellowships.
- Global Postdoctoral Fellowships.

Doctoral Networks (former ITN)/
Doctoral Networks (DN) drive scientific excellence and innovation. They bring together universities, research institutes and other sectors from across the world to train researchers to doctorate level. There are three types of Research networks:

- Joint Doctoral Networks

Staff exchanges (Former RISE)/
Staff Exchanges (SE) funds short-term exchanges of personnel between academic, industrial and commercial organisations throughout the world.
It helps people develop their knowledge, skills and careers, while building links between organisations working in different sectors of the economy, including universities, research institutes and SMEs.

Co-funding programmes (COFUND)/
Co-funding programmes (COFUND) provides organisations with additional financial support for their own researcher training and career development programmes.
The extra funds are available for new or existing schemes for training researchers abroad and across various sectors.
COFUND supports doctoral programmes for PhD candidates, as well as fellowship programmes for experienced researchers.

MSCA & CITIZENS (former Researchers' Night)/
The objective of the MSCA and Citizens action is to bring research and researchers closer to the public at large, with a focus notably on families, pupils and students. It does so through the organisation of the European Researchers’ Night, a research communication and promotion event taking place across EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries which aims to promote excellent research projects across Europe, as well as to increase awareness among the general public of the importance and benefits of research and innovation.
